Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are skilled healthcare professionals who assess and treat the body's soft tissues—muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues—to relieve pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall health. They utilize various techniques like manual therapy, joint mobilization, hydrotherapy, and rehabilitative exercises to address both acute and chronic conditions, such as stress, muscle tension, and injury. RMTs are highly trained, having completed accredited education and certification with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC. Massage therapy is clinically focused, offering benefits like pain relief, stress reduction, improved circulation, and enhanced immune function.

In an RMT session, patients undergo a comprehensive assessment, followed by a personalized treatment plan that may include manual therapy, corrective exercises, and home-care advice such as stretches and lifestyle recommendations. Each RMT brings a unique approach to therapy, with some focusing on movement-based treatments while others prioritize hands-on techniques. The goal is to address the root cause of pain or dysfunction, providing long-term relief and helping clients maintain the benefits through tailored home-care strategies.

Kimberly completed her massage therapy education at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, accumulating 3000 hands-on hours. Before pursuing massage therapy, Kimberly attended the University of Waterloo, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Health Studies. She focuses on creating a warm, inclusive environment for her patients by tailoring each treatment to their individual needs.

Kimberly values seeing patients as human beings first, rather than defining them by their condition. She incorporates an extensive range of therapeutic techniques, including Traditional Swedish Techniques, Myofascial Techniques, Neuromuscular Techniques, Joint Mobilization, Osseous Bone Loading, and Visceral Manipulation (limited to Female Reproductive Organs). She applies these techniques in a relaxing yet orthopedic manner to assist her patients in achieving their goals. If she cannot address your goals directly, Kimberly is diligent in seeking out other professionals who can help.

Her clinical focus includes Women’s Health (Prenatal and Postnatal massage, Female Reproductive Conditions), Chronic Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Chronic Pain, and TMJ.

In her leisure time, Kimberly enjoys working out, attending plays and shows, and exploring new restaurants. Otherwise, you can find her at home singing, reading, and experimenting with new recipes.

A graduate from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, Diana is now looking forward to helping others.

Her goal in treatment is to fully address her client’s area of concern. She delivers a combination of deep relaxation and deep tissue treatment massage through the use of traditional Swedish techniques, neuromuscular techniques, myofascial release techniques, joint mobilizations, trigger point release, and active stretching. Her treatment style varies from one to another as she creates a custom massage for each individual. Furthermore she has a keen interest in addressing neck issues, particularly TMJ dysfunction, headaches, and tension-related concerns.

In addition, Diana strives to promote a safe and understanding environment free of judgement for those around her. She is willing and happy to adjust to her patient’s level of comfort and boundaries at all times.

Outside of work, Diana enjoys spending her time with close friends and family. She likes to powerlift and snowboard as a hobby, occasionally teaches swim lessons, and enjoys helping others finding their own passion.
